This was my first time riding in this event and I could not say enough about the quality of the riding. It is an awesome part of the world and the trails are fantastic. I would rate it as the best 100km race I have done, as far as the course design and trails go.
The weather was perfect which made the ride even more enjoyable and the bike was perfect. If you have never ridden a Felt Virtue do yourself a favour find some rocky descents and let it go. The BMC 100 is a ride that you can take a hardtail on, whereas the Dirtworks is made for a dual suspension bike.
